PB <No problems for me with an ADSL connection. No hangs or garbled segments.>

Worked fine by cable modem as well -- even with an old Intel processor without "speed you need for the internet." It is great that these resources (CC by internet, and replay) are now more available to investors.

PB, No problems for me with an ADSL connection. No hangs or garbled segments.

I'm not sure if the problem wasn't in the local area network, say in silicon valley, rather than in the last feed into homes. I've had no problems here before with my ancient 33.6 modem. Anyone use cable modem or DSL in Silicon Valley?
