Andy Bryant (and others at Intel) probably have some personal reactions but there wouldn't be any value to Intel in criticizing Gateway.

When computer vendors aggressively limit inventory they are assuming a risk. Intel and other suppliers can only keep so much inventory on their own shelves for buffer without assuming risk themselves in stockpiling components for which prices rapidly decline.
