PB, re mobile computers, One such business is Intel itself. A growing number of its employees -- such as those who travel a good deal [and others who's jobs do not tie them to their desks, PB]-- now use a laptop as their primary work computer and plug it into a docking station at their desks. I heard the same story at Etrade after their shareholders meeting. They buy the latest and greatest Dell mobiles (soon to get greater again, as you say) for their people. Tony
