Casing, tubing, and pipe. All products essential to the oil industry. Drillers simply can't drill without casing. No Boom 2000 with out casing. This subsector doesn't get the press it should on OS board, I guess, because it's so "unglamorous". The product is about as low tech as you can get, but drillers gotta have it. When these things run, though, the profits that accrue to the investor go downright "Hollywood". I'm not in LSS right now, or MAVK, but am looking to get on board real soon now. Clearly LSS is the leadership stock in this sector as earning are expected to turn up substantially this qtr. I think MAVK is still expected to show a loss, which may explain the recent pressure on the stock. NSS is not expected to show a profit the qtr either, but is recovering nicely from it's recent selloff. 50 to 60% gainers to previous cycle highs here, potentially very quickly too, if the past price action is any indicator.
