Mark, I didn't see the CNBC piece you are referring to but if you want free level II you can get it from AB Watley. I don't use Watley myself, but a different direct access broker. Watley has something called Ultimate Trader Free. I think them paying just 1.5% interest on idle cash helps to offer the Level II as a freebie. But for any active trader who doesn't have his/her money sitting idle this may be a decent option. They have a demo version of the software you can try out also. Dave

Hey Mark! You get redirected to a porno site because if you're not careful with level II you will get f---ed! ggg I didn't catch the add that you heard but at $79 a month Tradescape will give you level II. Some firms give you level II as part of the overall package. I think most if not all of them are the direct entry firms such as MB Trading. Some brokers I think only charge you the $50 exchange fee. The following is from Tradescape's home page. "REAL TIME Level II Quotes (no trading) The monthly charge is $79.99 ($29.99 plus the $50.00 NASDAQ exchange fee) for each CALENDAR month, plus applicable state sales tax. No where else on the web will you find a more competitive price for streaming real time Level II quotes." Hope some of this helps. Doug
