AMD should do much better than consensus for Q4.

All boats should rise post AMD announcement.

I will be curious as to how aggressively Jerry will go after Intel in his comments.

However, even if he does this, I do not anticipate any negative effect <edit> in a signicicant way <end edit> on INTC share price attributable to any such action.

Demand was strong. AMD spokespersons admit they got business because of Intel supply constraints.

I anticipate Q1 to go much the way of Q4, although going forward P858 will be much better positioned capacity wise incrementally. Q2 should be real interesting, IMHO (Battle of the fabs). Will be curious to note pricing action going forward also (I don't have a good feel for this).
