Clubnet (1999 winter information) is a club of people who share a mutual interest in computer networks and would like to exchange information in rather informal way. The lecturers will be one of Clubnet members who is willing to share his research ideas or his interest field, and people from the industry that deal with computer networks. We will try to balance between the outside lectures and the Technion lectures. The meeting will be every week on Wednesday 10:30-11:30 in room 1061, Mayer Bldg. (EE Dept.), Technion. If you know someone that is interested in computer networks and wants to join the Clubnet please send us his email and we will contact him. We will be more than happy to get your suggestions and cooperation to take part and email us subjects that you can speak on or to connect us to people from the industry that would like to take part in the Clubnet. You are encouraged to contact youval@comnet.technion.ac.il to discuss potential future presentations. The success and the added value of the Clubnet depends on your attendance and cooperation. www-comnet.technion.ac.il Winter Semester meetings: Distributed QoS and Load Balancing at the Server Farm Finally, the system utilizes a distributed mechanism to allocate the resources according to the policy defined and to direct requests to the appropriate server.
