Content aside, your post is brilliant prose. Vaguely reminiscent of Jack Nicholson's soliloquy from the stand in "For Few Good Men" when Lt. Kaffee asked Col. Jessup why Santiago's clothes weren't packed.

It has that same kind of onomatopoetic value, that same iambic pentameter.

I am visibly moved.

Why buy in-the-moneys when I can short the stock? I like the leverage of slightly-out-of-the-moneys, before the volatility smile starts to kick in. As for courage, how can you ask that of someone too craven to sell short? That's the real man's play. -mb
