bgr, i'm not ignoring it. neither am i ignoring the dwindling mfg base during the best of all worlds. you strike me as the type who pay outrageous amounts fro a corolla because it is a "good" car. the us deserves a premium. i'm not sure that premium s/b 200-300% above the us historical avg for valuations. i also believe the numbers should speak for themselves. analysis is fine, but don't change the numbers to fit a preconceived notion. that is called paradigm paralysis - the terminal disease of certainty. and it is terminal.
