Douglas, Many thanks. I can't seem to get through to the audio section of the interview, but based on the last interview I'm convinced Spears knows his stuff. I've long been looking to find a reason to buy GW. Spears may have given it to me.

He confirms my suspicions about MAVK and LSS. The only thing that makes me hesitate slightly on MAVK is the recent technical deterioration. I think it will be ok to buy LSS on a slight dip or the breakout. Based on the recent price action investors seem to have confidence that these guys will hit their earnings. The only problem is that analysts are maintaining a wide swing in their estimates.

What is your insight as an oil man for the current demand for casing, and other tubular products. Also, have you formed any opinions on TBI?

TIA

Bull

Douglas, I finally got to listen to that Spears interview. Glad I did too. Most of the land drillers mentioned have already broken out and are running. WFT has broken out. SII and BJS are doing their Mambo King thing.

The one sector that hasn't broken out is tubuluar, but they are CLOSE, verrrrry close. LSS, and TBI are all within a buck of breakout. MAVK is lagging a bit but had a great day friday, up 10%. The thing that struck me about MAVK's recent report is that the inventory overhang for tubular products, casing in particular, is now gone. To me this can only mean tremendous upside to pricing power in the next 3 qtrs at least. No matters what happens with offshore drilling in the future, I simply cannot imagine $30 oil not stimulating tremendous amounts of drilling in the US/Canadian land sector. I am looking for tubular cos to follow the land drillers up - real soon now. If not the next week or so then definitely in Feb.

I am about to load up on GW. Hopefully I can get it at 3. We'll see. Big Dog almost has me going for PKD, but they've shifted to offshore drilling so I may wait a bit. Maybe PKD hits it big in the Caspian Sea, maybe they don't. What do you think are the prospects for finding significant oil reserves there?

Anyway, many thanks for posting that Spears interview, as it cleared up for me, where to concentrate my investment dollars.
