Today, twice the average vol exchanged hands yet the price only increased by a half point. So, do we have a new set of owners who are looking for stability replacing the sellers who what to get into the high-flyers? The other explanation is that some day-traders used SPLS to become wealthy, one-half selling while the other half buying, neither doing better than the other. Of course, the discount broker serving the day traders made out and is probably wondering what kind of fine wine to serve tonight with the caviar. Joe
