FWIW, I've seen stocks halted for news that reopened at very different prices than before the halt.

- James, nearly 100% of day traders lose everything or quit the business prior to losing everything. It's all been documented in the Wall Street Journal.

- In fact, the charting software companies have tried to go back to the original buyers of their day trading programs; to find out how to make the new versions better; and they found that 100% of the buyers they were able to contact stopped day trading due to losses.

- And yes, I said 100% b/c as the WSJ pointed out, no one could find any day trader who was still day trading after more than 2 years
