As far as I understand cable bandwidth, two way transmission is possible if they are used with the right set top box. That is, if the box is designed to transmit JAVA beans. So the new technology will allow for the two way transmission. Now this says a great deal about who will benefit greatly from the AOL/TWX deal. Look for SUNW to grow at a much accelerated rate due to this "Mega merger".
