Marsman- KLAC and all the boys in semi equips will be golden for 2-3 years. Chip guys just starting to increase orders, about to pull the trigger on new fabs, some of which will be 300mm, and the demand side on chips is really increasing fast. Plus, existing capacities strained to the limit.
You may want to piece out some of your KLAC for a hold.
In any event, good buy and good luck going forward.

Next week's data docket will be on the light side, with no big market movers set for release.

Monday: Markets closed for Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Tuesday: BTM Schroders and LJR Redbook's weekly retail sales reports. Wednesday: December housing starts and building permits and the Fed's Beige Book report on economic conditions. Thursday: November trade data, weekly initial claims and January Philadelphia Fed index. Friday: December Treasury budget.

Next week will see an earnings deluge, with reports from a broad array of companies on tap.

There are 10 Dow companies reporting next week, according to First
Call. Others of particular interest are America Online, Apple Computer, Lucent Technologies and Sun Microsystems. Most of the airlines and banks report next week, First Call noted.

Tuesday: Microsoft, Linear Technology, Xilinx, Teradyne, Broadcom, Unisys, Novellus Systems, DoubleClick, Citrix Systems, Corel, Delphi Automotive Systems, Harley Davidson, Ethan Allen Interiors, Citigroup, J.P.
