Tim, I know it well. Companies like Intel can keep telling lies about great business while the sales are down, as long as they put out those misleading headlines in the eps report. Hey, it's not like the analysts actually read anything. (Remember when several of our comprades here on SI forced Dan Niles to admit he hadn't read Micron's 10Q before publishing his "research?" <g>) But, as always, I prefer to bet on reality over fantasy, and it always pays off over the breadth of the portfolio.
