Sorry Everyone...

I typed a stinking Essay re: my earlier ticker symbol post after reading Dale's instructions not to just post tickers but to write a little about em, so here goes, did this a bit earlier, but seems to have been lost in bit space...

Bnyn - IPO of switchboard.com, a direct competitor of INSP and backing of CBS partnership. Also getting a foot hold in the NT 2000 consulting biz.

CAMP - Nice wireless video play - good earnings suprise last quarter and well positioned in this explosive market.

DGIT - Media transportation. IE - get rid of video tapes and audio tapes and move over the 'net. Over 7000 radio/TV stations subscribe to them.

DMAX - Early early, get in while it's cheap.

ELON - LONWORKS standard!!! Home/business device internet STANDARD, up quite a bit but worth keeping on the radar screen.

IARC - Ya'll know about this one sounds like...

INPT - XML play, good technology.

INSP - Nuf said.

INTI - Automated software billing solution for telco's. Great GEOPROBE S/W app, nice client base.

IONN - A litte fuzzy on the tech but a solid network management company - I'll give credit to someone else for this play, but I'm in..

LLB - Speculitive at best - Lawyers need to track time and are suckers for toyz..

LBHL - My favorite, 20 mil backup from CNN, holding company for .com's around the world. Great internation travel .com site - multilingual...is that how it's spelled?

NETM - Just bought Data General, not that that is impressive but thier XML network management is...

NOIZ - Nice patents in local loop wireless management and other fields...

OBAS - Nice Cisco contract!

WPNE - CUCME over NT, Linux and other OS platforms. One major contract and it goes to the moon.

Hope this helps, nice talkin to ya'll...
Marshall

Hope this works this time!

Welcome to SI, Marshall. Glad to have you.

You are heavily invested in a lot of speculative stocks. My first suggestion would be to make sure you have some balance in bigger tech stocks or large cap mutual funds. These small caps can be very profitable - or blow up in your face unexpectedly. That's why ISWCX is still my largest single holding.

STKR - a BB stock so more speculative than most. My original target based on projected Price/Sales was 6-8. That's why BTate and I both sold half at 7 to lock in some profits. I am staying because they are manufacturing for the fiber optics world now. And the CEO buying $1 million of shares in the open market last year is the best vote of confidence you can get. But we don't know what price target he had in mind.

You know from my Portfolio Update that I am in several of your other stocks too. If you would like some thoughts on those, let me know.

We look forward to your contributions.
