"The fact of the matter is no one knows how successful Argent or Ariad will be. There's no need to rain on the parade."

I bet he knows of 42,000,000 reasons why Ariad is assured of success. Just an opinion. I side with the big money guys.

I rain on parades when people are misrepresenting them. You may not appreciate it, but there are those at SI who do not understand the technologies and who want a clear picture of their potential. Those individuals want balance, and some of them are interested in where a stock will be in three years in addition to where it will be five minutes after Tuesday's open. Balance is what SI biotech thrives on, and I'm not going to change the way that I've chosen to post at SI since '96, just because you don't want me to point at silly comparisons.

Why don't you spend your time doing something constructive? Why don't you tell the thread about (1) the gene switch technology that is being developed at Sangamo, and (2) why, since you obviously believe that it is, the ARIA procedure is superior?
