SarkieBug, I will check out Kapalua, I am supposed to go with some friends out there next December so I will make a point to book a round. I understand this was an exceptional drive with help from the conditions, but wouldn't it be nice to hit one that long at least once a round. I'll am pretty happy with 260 and in play. I can hit them with ease over 300, but usually the ball in no longer actually in the course. My dad used to laugh at me and said I only got half my monies worth as I had never seen the left side of a hole. Then I developed a draw and he shut up. <g> Thats very cool that you and your husband play. I am really only interested in something long term with a women if she loves golf of her own accord. I figure why fight it when you can just find someone who actually wants to spend Sunday playing golf. TH's GUIDELINES FOR MATE SELECTION 1. Must play golf. No exceptions. 2. Must be able to name all four Beatles. 3. Must not have more than 6 credit cards. I have a die-hard golf buddy who just got married in October. What can I say about it except, BIG MISTAKE. I think he is starting to realize this, but of course golf is only a small part of that equation. Its good that your 9 year old is into it. I think its a lot easier to learn at that age. I didn't start until mid 20's. Lots of good years wasted. Well have fun and I hope you get to play soon.
