What does a purchase give Yahoo that they don't have already?

"Yahoo is a low bandwidth service which does not seem ready to move to the next level. With the huge market cap they have Yahoo must leverage it and partner or go the way of the Dinosaur. "

Hi Bob,,,IMO,,,That would be a disaster for Yahoo.
Yahoo remains one of the GREATEST pure plays and biz models,
with cross cultural potential that BLOWS my mind....

Why do they want the giant quagmire to beat all quagmires....
(Yahoo benefits by being different)...

There is opportunity here, somewhere, for @Home....

If nothing else,
the dissatisfaction with the AOL-TWX Bureaucracy
has brought them down to @Homes' level,
even more so,,,,, in some ways....

Come to think of it,,,
I think AOL will be valued in line with @Home.....To a TEA.
