Is anyone else bothered by this statement? Yes, I am also bothered by that statement. I posted a similar fact about a week ago (from a source at HP), but the thread didn't make any comments on it... Justin

Is anyone else bothered by this statement? "...and LumiLeds Lighting, a joint venture between Agilent Technologies and Philips Lighting, which currently market blue and green LED products that are brighter than our high brightness blue and green LED devices." i ignored that statement previously because i have heard the cree ceo state quite recently that the brightness gap has been closed. in fact he referred to the brightness gap as a "persistent rumor." i will try to get clarification this week.
