Trust is not only a moral imperative, but a practical necessity. If I did not trust the grocer or the mechanic, at least somewhat, I could not get on with my life.I cannot constantly be on the defensive, and suspicious of all......

Noone believes in the boogeyman more than me, I've seen him and he is whoever you think you can trust..

Ahh.. Herein lies the dilemma.. Whenever money and power are involved there will always be the "Judas". But you cannot base your entire life on this premise.. There are people and things you must trust in.. Certainly you must trust the US Military to protect you from all threats both foreign and domestic. Although it's been depicted in movies many times the fact remains that in our 224 years as a country the US Military has never fired on any of it's citizens. I don't think there are many countries that can make that claim.. That is just one small illustration of how we all trust things in our everyday lives.

As for personal relationships?(which is what I know you are refering to) That is a whole different story.
