Tom,

I though you would agree that WCOM is must own.

do I see hesitation on AOL??? -vbg-

they are truly something next generation, if they pull off this merger with TWX.

We really need to get DIS into the portfolio as they are a massive content company, one of the premier ones.

----Disney's Magical Media Kingdom is the world's #2 media company (behind Time Warner, which America Online is buying). The Mouse has interests in TV and movie production (ABC Entertainment Television, Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group, and Miramax), theme parks (including Animal Kingdom, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, Disney-MGM Studios, Epcot Center, and North America's most-visited theme park, the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida), publishing companies, a cruise line, Internet companies (go.com), and professional sports franchises (Mighty Ducks of Anaheim NHL team). Division ABC, Inc., includes the ABC TV network, nearly a dozen TV stations, and shares in nine cable channels, including ESPN. -----

we should also look at NWS as a buy and hold, maybe on a pullback:

------Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. is truly a global media and entertainment empire. It publishes scores of newspapers (including The Times of London), magazines (including The Weekly Standard), and books (HarperCollins). The company's 82%-owned Fox Entertainment Group has significant television and entertainment holdings, including Fox Broadcasting in the US, STAR TV (an Asian satellite TV network), Twentieth Century Fox (movie and TV production), and the Los Angeles Dodgers. It also owns 22 US TV stations and dozens of cable and satellite stations in Australia, Europe, and Latin America. About 70% of News Corp.'s sales are from its US businesses. Murdoch's family owns about 30% of the company.-------
