I know Tim does not have a problem with dissenting opinions if presented in rational manner. I've seen it before. The problem with some of the people around SI is that they can't have an intellectual discussion without turning it into a personal matter. In addition, if someone doesn't want to have a discussion with them, they won't just go away. They just shoot off at the mouth. SI realizes this problem. That's why they added the "ignore" button. It's their first step in turning these people off
