I can actually see some good reasons for Yahoo and ATHM to have far closer ties, and an equity position could possibly be a way to cement the ties. A full buyout? Also not completely out of the question (though unlikely for sure). Why? Because YHOO just like AOL needs to do something fundamental to it's business model to justify its $100 Billion market cap. Moving into distribution is not necessarily an outrageous choice (like AOL did), though more likely they will buy some real media properties. Eric
