Tim, if this truly goodbye, then thanks for what you have done.

I am very pleased that you have chosen to give Glenn's thread, thewallstreetinvestor.com , the credit it certainly deserves.

Glenn has assembled, not only a stellar group of tech wizards, business exec's and other expert traders, but also many folks, like myself, who are still just learning.

But what is most prominent is the decency of the thread. Maybe this is because Glenn is constantly monitoring the site and wouldn't allow any BS. But I really feel that it is because, believe it or not, they're all just good people there. For whatever the reason, I have not seen a single mean-spirited post there, since June, as opposed to here.

What may not be generally known, is that you headed a thread there, at it's inception, But for reasons, best known to Glenn and yourself, you departed thewallstreetinvestor.com . I'd like to think that it was just a difference in style, rather than any ill will.

For Glenn et al are more interested in teaching/sharing the use of the considerable research resources available there, rather than just throwing out picks. I, personally, need to learn more how to fish, than to be just handed the fish. But the picks there have been awesome!

For reasons, best known to yourself, you have chosen not to include me in your new ventures, despite the fact that I've been aboard for over a year. Be that what it may, let me take the opportunity now to thank you for the gains in my portfolio that I've gained from you. I really needed that $$$ this year.

But I'm very happy at thewallstreetinvestor.com and hopefully many of you who are disappointed with the way this thread has degenerated will find your way there. At least those of you who are decent and don't post garbage.

Best of luck to you, Tim .

Lee

PS There are many lessons to be learned here about the liabilities of maintaining a high profile on the internet.
It's like walking down the street with a target on your back (but not on your front), for that is where the creepsters take aim.
