<I am hearing predictions of up to $0.05... T.J.'s few words are causing irrational exuberance... What if we should hit $0.02 or higher? The stock will soar, and we will end this 30s crap.>

The psychology has changed... the fact that investors are now focused on a surprise will run the stock into earnings. Tuesday in the pre-market, the usual "pop" will be amplified by buyers trying to beat the rush in a thinly traded market, and on the "open", daytraders will pile in. Anyone that doesn't already own ATHM will find it difficult to selectively place a long position... they will either chase it, or be left out. Obviously, shorts will be forced to chase it... and there is a lot of short interest out there, be it in derivatives, or in the stock itself. That short interest will put a floor under any attempted pull-back... and strengthening that foundation, daytraders will buy dips. Traders will abort the old formula of shorting the open.

All of this should be truly explosive, and the drama should unfold on Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, I would expect remorse somewhat akin to an alcoholic waking up in a detox center. Somewhere in the last week of January, ATHM will find a new and higher base, after traders have atoned for their sin of gluttony.

Bottom line... if you put yourself in the position of the players in this high drama, you might reasonably conclude that ATHM has already bid a fond farewell to the 30's.
