seems optimistic, but what happens when you remove the conditions
for impulse buying, the last remaining social aspects of shopping,
and undermine whole shopping districts which are based on those
principles? What happens to those brands when their presence
in your community becomes just a presence in your cache?
How many brands would you buy sight unseen? I can think of
one, Sony. How many store brands would you prefer if the store
didn't happen to be nearby? I can't think of any.

Don't get me wrong. I think the results are going to be
great for the environment and for human life in general.
I just don't think that many patients are going to survive
the operation. Looks like IT is starting, the part where
reorganizing the economy looks more bloody than sanguine.
