Playstar appears to be shifting their direction into e-commerce and away from operating an online casino according to sources close to the company in Antigua. While the Playstar casino is reportedly generating in excess of $30K per month in profits, the company in the meantime is lining up overseas financial institutions for credit transaction processing as well as online gaming operators. The company reportedly already processes Starnet's adult business and may expand further into Starnet licensee operations. So, that's all I have at the moment. I don't see any significance whatsoever to any profit taking on Friday because what goes up always corrects. The Bear Stearns stimulus was good and Cryptologic at least was quick to issue a press release that they were mentioned in the report and investors responded by clamoring to buy their stock. So, it bodes well for the future of online wagering.

22nd January 2000

Dear Player,

Firstly, we would like to wish you all the very best for the New Millennium and also apologize for PlayStar Casino pCash being closed since the end of December 1999. This was due to reporting difficulties experienced by our Credit Card Processor, which, we are VERY PLEASED to say have now been resolved. As such, PlayStar Casino is now FULLY OPERATIONAL.

We have also noted that there have been communication difficulties, these unfortunately have been and are outside our control. If you experience difficulties connecting, please try again.

We will be changing the home pages of our website within the next couple of days, and we will also be sending out the Millennium Newsletter, this will detail the Millennium Prize Draw, postponed because of these technical problems.

We would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation during these difficult times, and we will endeavor to offer you excellent service during 2000, and beyond.....
