Inets may not be valued at the ratios we see today, but they will still be valued at higher ratios than media companies. Media companies exist in a mature market. We are a decade away from a mature internet market. That means future growth for Inets will still outpace media cos. It also means the landscape we see today will be vastly different, and many of the companies we see today will not be around, just Ask Jeeves. I agree that means there is huge risk investing in Inets.

TWX jumped from a mature market, into a growth area. AOL went from a growth area to a mature market. Which company was the winner?
