I thought you have retired? Well, maybe it's time to think about it. I retired when I had $1 m several years ago.

JW,
Since the FED can't seem to find any inflation in the demand pull traditional measures, now they're looking for the cost push type within the labor force. Earth to AG, employers are no longer handing out COLA increases (duh, because the CPI ain't moving) and salary increases based on tenure, annual reviews etc. have gone away as well. Being in sales I'm used to the standard response of my superiors when I've pushed for a base adjustment - "Being in sales you name your salary by the success of your efforts." My perception is that more and more employees outside of sales are running into the same sort of response -"We are no longer awarding salary increases, but are going to pay bonuses based upon the dept./division/organization's performance." I'm sure there are longer term implications to this and it frankly frightens me to see the FED intent on taking the market lower when a significant number of people are either supplementing or replacing their incomes with successful trading in the markets. Guess the key is to stay one step ahead of the FED.
