You mentioned your 50% in $cash. That's too much! The timing to have 100% of your speculation $cash in equities couldn't be better. IMHOP of course

U.S. Treasury Dept announced buyback of $30 bill in bonds, $5 bill more than expected; should give us a bit of breathing room with the long bond the next few weeks at least.

1999 will undoubtably be a record year for Fed tax revenues, further reducing the need for new bond issues by the Treas Dept. And I predict that Fed tax revenues in 2000 will significantly top those of 1999.
