Yes that's a good strategy too, but some people have all their $ in retirement accounts, and can't sell naked puts. But they CAN sell covered calls.

Anyway, don't mean to clutter the thread with too much options talk, as we've got our sister options thread. Just thought I'd mention it in the various strategies today.

sell uncovered puts.
Uncovered puts create a lot of uncertainty about whether you are going to be put the stock or not. You need to pay attention to the stock while you hold them. When I retire having a portfolio that I don't have to monitor every day will be a top priority.
