Re: "AMD has no choice but to complete in terms of both quality of product (the Athlon is a superior CPU) and price, in order to make headway into the marketplace given Intel's monopolistic practices. It wasn't easy for me to decide to build the Athlon computer I'm typing this message on. With Intel bullying MB manufacturers (oh, you didn't get our shipment of processors and chipsets? Let me check with accounting) "

Tell a lie enough times and it is accepted as truth but after Gateway I amazed anybody is stupid enough to dust off that old lame excuse. AMD continues to wage a price war and when Intel's full capacity comes on line and they begin matching AMD's prices you will start whining again that it is Intel who started the war. You're full of sh*t.

Rand re:<<Yet when AMD wages the price war you package it so nicely and just say "less expensive>>, and that wasn't even the argument. Elmer and Paul are masters of avoiding questions. I questioned Elmer on his statement that Intel had the momentum now, and I pointed out that they had neither in stock movement or processor speed, then he changes the subject. Paul has done the same. He even accused me of changing the subject once. If these guys have Masters degrees it must only be in deception.
