sounds like both of you sharing frustrations, and there's nothing wrong with disclosure.

been with MBT over a year, and for the most part satisfied, however, if I held your feelings, "inevitability to being ripped off", I would have made a change months ago...

who really lacks empathy here?...

Well, I agree with you. But I'd add that anybody, full time or casual trader, who doesn't keep a separate log doesn't belong in the business and should stick to mutual funds. Like the ass he is.

Sure I've had glitches with MBT. I've had bad margin calls and innumerable 2/3 crosses. But I've also found that a simple phone call to MBT is not only answered on the first ring but quickly leads to a resolution of any discrepancy.

I can't say the same for Schwab.
