It would be a tidy finale to the whole sordid Rambus affair, would it not? But I have no reason whatsoever to think that it actually happened. I'm just sitting here making up my crass speculations.

There's no way we'd be allowed to find out in a timely matter, of course; we'll only find out thirty or forty points or four or five months after the fact.

If it were asked at tomorrow's meeting, they'd only get one of the following weasel answers from this list: "We don't know", "We cannot divulge the positions of our investors" (buying-in is worthy of a blizzard of press releases, of course), "That information is always changing, so we cannot give it out because it isn't reliable" (as if Intel would be day-trading twenty million shares), "We don't have that information available at this time", etc.
