Be happy to, Poet, or at least as happy as a curmudgeon can be. I rely on no one's advice. I think either of those gentleman would confirm that we have exchanged ideas as equals. I not only have defended Voltaire on numerous occasions, I built Voltaire's Porch as a retreat for him and his friends. Now perhaps you'll answer a question for me in return. Poet, I think the Q thread had enough of our dialog tonight, but I'm not about to go PM mode with you. No telling the spin you might put on a private encounter. I've studiously avoided interaction with you, for obvious reasons, but you seem unwilling to return the favor. Let me assure you that every time you post to me, I will respond to your questions or concerns and then repeat the following question: Why did you accuse Maurice of sexism? There are several ways to end this: 1. Substantiate your accusation. 2. Apologize for your accusation. 3. Quit posting to me. If you can't do #1, I would suggest that #2 would be very classy. At any rate, #3 closes the issue as far as I'm concerned. Your choice, Poet. cuf
