Difficult question, as of now.

But, on the evening it happened I outlined why I left out the scapegoat, LU, but bought some other techs (SUNW, QCOM to name) at the resulting discount prices.

If you ask me now I would wait the few days for the actual report and buy depending on the guide they (or their analysts) give. They report on Thu, 20th, FYI.

If the action on Friday in LU tells anything then it looks like there are some more sellers ahead of the earnings release.

Bullrider, I was also a long time holder of LU until earlier this week...this has the earmarkings of the old "coachroach theory".

Also, having done a little more dd since the warning, I do not like what I see, especially the inventories and receivables growing much quicker than sales. Unfortunately, I should have tracked this one closer than I did, but I had it my buy, hold and forget about category...bad mistake. Good news is I only lost a chunk of the profit, rather than any principal.

I am now strongly considering going short, especially as the bad news starts to pile up.

Neil.
