imho it is almost a given that msft will post stronger than expected earnings tuesday. though intel's stellar results don't neccesarily foreshadow this--as their signif boost in income derived from internet related invsts, telecom, etc.--it doesn't "hurt" msft's chances. i gain confidence in potential for msft blowout as gates hands over reigns to ballmer one week before earnings announcement. i say chances that this takes place before earnings dissapointment is next to zero. if tuesday open isn't up 2 or more (and i "fear" it will be) i plan to plow everything into mighty softee--if only for a day or so.
