Dear jtsaratoga-- thanks for your reply but "percent in yearly range" is NOT the same as "percent below the yearly high price"...For FMKT the former may be calculated as you suggested, i.e.,
(198-190.25)*100/(370-190.25)=4.31

However, Friday's FMKT close of 198 is about 53% below the high of 370. I am looking for an indicator which instantly gives the retracement percent off the yearly high.
