Well, according to a poster on the other thread, the one you are understandibly not reading, QCOM designs CDMA ASICs but does not manufacture them. Intel and IBM manufactures them. Interesting.

The point is that INTEL has to be a bigger player in TELCO chips...after all that is the future. It has been said that NOKIA will be the biggest PC maker in 3-4 years i.e. the phone is the computer.
