Well OK ..

I guess that I'll respond to your question 1 with a yes.

The UN is a government .. it has some similarities with the United States form of government when it first came into existence. In other words a lose knit collection of distinct "states." A confederacy, if you will.

The expansion of the role of the UN as a government has been growing. For a long time we have been comfortable with phrases like "UN forces" and "UN police action."

If it ever came down to it, as far as an enforcement within the US, I'm sure that it would be our own armed forces that would be simply told to change uniforms and go to work.

One major problem that I have with the idea of this government, is that "we the people" were never asked if it was OK to give up our sovereignty. We were simply absorbed.

Are there and have there been powerful Americans that favored us being a part of the new United States? clearly yes.

Let's see .. the eye thing .. I believe that preceded the catch phrase "New world order."

Would the folks that symbol represented have been in favor of a unified world government? I believe so. So I guess that makes me a kook to the second order<g>

question 2 secret phrase? Why would they bother? I think the phrase is only marketing.

Much of the stuff that you listed off functions quite well as disinformation.

Do people conspire for their own gain? silly question .. what would be the limits of people conspiring? As far as they could take it. Simply human nature. Are there people who have conspired to rule the world? History lists many. I guess that it cooks down to "have any quietly succeeded or are close to doing so?"

I noticed your point about the second amendment having nothing to do with hunting .. very cool ..

I like to point out that the second amendment was written by people who had just got done showing the entire world that they thought it was proper to take up weapons and kill the law enforcement people of the existing government because it had become destructive of the God given rights of the people.

Yep .. I'm from small town Michigan.
