Paul Allen is one of the big investors. Metricom was one of his other big investments in wireless. Coincidentally, MCOM is now a member of the CDMA Development Group.

Has there been any discussion of the great small article about Packetvideo that appears on page 30 of the February issue on Business 2.0? A great photo appears showing a Sprint Qualcomm phone with an attached video screen from Packetvideo.Interesting possibilities.

Transmeta news - the way I read, if this development takes off it will accelerate mass transition from PCs to smaller mobile handheld computing devices.

This should be a win for mobile device makers like Coms, NOK and potentially for Q's HDR adoption. I don't see any threat of direct competition with HDR-- other preliminary thoughts?
