Suggestions -- but not answers ...

Delete the contents of your temporary folder.

Once running, Ctrl-Alt-Del and check for 'surprises' in the list of running programs.

Check your boot .LOG file and see if anything failed to start and had to time out before booting continued.

Clear your cache in Explorer.

Boot to DOS mode and delete WIN386.SWP file.

Check StartUP area for squatters.

Check device manager for drivers not loaded properly.

P.S. Just curious, How do you even notice a boot being ten seconds longer?
