<I am really beginning to appreciate the importance of Say's Law which dictates that supply creates demand. The whole movement in technology has been greatly limited by the restrictions associated with fixed communication and data services. The convergence of fixed and wireless networks is going to open up a whole new set of opportunities.>

exactly right, as supply goes...
the supply of qcoms technology with cdma and hdr will open up a whole new world of useful applications and products that we have not even thought of yet!!
I can see it clearly ... complete wireless connectivity
your home pc's to each other, to the printer, to your office
pc to your laptop- at home or office network,
office printer-fax-copier-scanner...
the list goes on and on.
think of it, we will be able to connect everything to everything else, through a combination of hardwired systems
and wireless systems or eventually totally wireless with
a central box to control all wireless devices in the office
or home. I mean telephones, computers, everything.

how about this.. your at work and an alarm box pops up on your laptop (wireless network connection) and a streaming video display shows your back yard -the perimeter intrusion alarm that just went off at your house is just the pool guy going in your back yard.
I mean the applications will be truly endless. JohnQ
