Mike, I have been a Quicken user since 1990. It is, without a doubt, the most useful tool in my house. Using its retirement planning software, I began setting goals the week I bought the software. I spend a few evenings every year updating my goals versus performance. I am also able to take snapshots of my net worth and see liability versus assets and what makes up those numbers in my case.

I highly recommend such software for those who are inclined to use computers.
