Strike at Papayo (pretty deep)

Manhattan Minerals Corp. is pleased to announce the discovery of a fourth new deposit at its Tambo Grande Project in northern Peru. Drill hole B5-02 on the B5 geophysical anomaly has intersected 142 metres (436 metres to 578 metres) of massive sulphides. Included in the intersection is an interval of 23 metres (464 metres to 487 metres) grading 2.0% copper, 3.5% zinc, 1.0 g/t gold and 56 g/t silver. The entire 142 metre intersection averages 0.5% copper, 0.9% zinc, 0.6 g/t gold and 17 g/t silver.

This discovery, 11 kilometres south of the first three discoveries, proves that the Tambo Grande area is an extensive massive sulphide district, that the overall sulphide system is strong, and that the characteristic high grade zoning of the mineralization is present in each deposit.
