I suggested deleting this file because it catches all the 'spare' crap flying around your system. Acting as a repository of 'extra' stuff, it could easily contain something problematic. Since Windows creates a new copy of this file if you delete it, I thought you may get some benefit from a fresh start, especially since it's so easy. Again, I was just sharing some easy stuff to try. Stuff that won't take time, money, or cause trouble, but could help if you're lucky. Cheers, PW.
