I don't know if it's too risky for you. Only you know that. But it's definitely too risky to be called a conservative style. I hope you appreciate how risky it is, about 9 on a scale of 10. And I hope you can return to the work force in good standing and in good spirit if it doesn't pan out as you hope.

Doesn't work for many here, since funds are in IRA/401k type accounts. And by definition, they are none margin accounts. Withdrawing funds to put in a margin account doesn't work either, since that creates a taxable event.
