You, sir, are in an enviable position, one that I aspire to. This is new territory for me, and I appreciate you sharing the wisdom you have acquired during your already lengthy retirement.

Thus far I have determined a method for early withdrawal from my IRA without penalty, and taken the first year's equal distribution of the five to which I committed. I freed up cash for this process by replacing some of my Q holdings with DIM Q LEAPS, and also used that process to diversify into some other potential Gorillas. I have one year's salary in a money market account yielding 5% at Wells Fargo, and have paid off all debt with the exception of my home. Nancy and I feel secure at this point, and will use this year to help calibrate our future expectations.

I hope you and other successfully retired investors, such as Cha2 and Malcolm, will continue to post your experiences and advice. It has been and will be most appreciated.
