OT: to the engineers familiar with telecommunication equipment: what are the memory requirements / specifications for legacy carrier-class circuit-switched equipment VS networking (IP/ATM packetized data) equipment?

Does Rambus have a role to play in the hyper-growth prospects of the latter?

Hi Chris, I just went back and re-read that Pru post. Thanks go to A.E. for posting it, but my mind must have faded by the time I got to that paragraph. I seriously remember almost the entire rest of the post, but didn't even notice that one on SiGe. Guess I'm not eating enough pickled fish and cream cheese for breakfast! Time for some Brain Food!
